This is an inaugural year for the Bumiputra Designers Association Tribute Awards to be conferred to Bumiputra individuals who have demonstrated excellence and contributed to the growth and development of fashion and beauty industry in Malaysia over the past few years. BDA Tribute Awards are sponsored by Malaysia Handicraft Development Corporation (Kraftangan Malaysia), Habib Jewels and L'oreal "Because You're Worth It".
